ガラスヘッドまち針 パッケージ開発のよもやま話
広島の匠の技には、300年以上の歴史があります。 日本の広島で作られているまち針を使うことで、MADE IN JAPANのものづくりを続けて未来へ繋げていきたいという思いを詰めました。 針を収納する紙製の筒箱は、優しいクリーム色。紙の原料には、手まりでも使用するもみ殻が使われています。 ちょっと想像つかないかもしれませんが、NONA立ち上げの際に仕入れで一番最初に取り組んだのが、実はもみ殻なんです。手まりづくりはもみ殻なしでは始まらず、NONAのものづくりを支えています。もみ殻も大切に個包装にする作業を続けているスタッフもいます。 筒箱の紙を選定に行った際に、この紙に一瞬にして惚れ込み即決しました。もみ殻を大事にしているNONAにぴったりのアップサイクルペーパーに出会うことができた嬉しさは忘れません。今では大きめの筒箱も同じ紙で作り、完成品の手まり用のパッケージとして使用しています。 日本では年間約200万トンのもみ殻が発生しており、うち20％は廃棄されています。NONAの全てものづくりを通して、再利用することの重要性を伝えていきたいと考えています。 一見すると真っ黒に見える印字カラーは、日本の伝統色「消炭色」を採用しています。ほんのり柔らかいチャコールグレー。和の色はすっと心に馴染みます。 ガラスヘッドまち針のご購入はこちら
