By chance, the theme was "chrysanthemum" temari, and it was my father-in-law's 70th birthday in the Czech Republic, so I entrusted my feelings to him with chrysanthemum temari.
I added a gradation with auspicious madder to celebrate longevity, and since the theme was chrysanthemums, I layered chrysanthemum flowers and marigolds from the Asteraceae family.
I wanted it to be gorgeous and quick to shape with temari even when I was dyeing it.
I was able to safely give the temari to him the other day after it was completed on Chongyang Day ❤︎
