I was very honored to have this opportunity, and since last year I have been preparing for it together with Shugei lab. It was an opportunity to learn more about ``Yoshi'', ``Cherry blossoms'', and Hirakata.

There is so much content that I don't know where to start, but NONA and I will be visiting from Nishi-Ogikubo for the first three days. Plenty of workshops will be held, and Hirakata will be holding a full-fledged NONA workshop for the first time.

NONA BUFFET will not be held at the online shop in January, but will be held “real” in Hirakata! This is your chance to purchase it individually. I also re-dyed the threads from past ``Stories''. Lively NONA threads are lined up in rows.

And a special project! An exhibition of works by everyone from the NONA Osaka Temari Classroom will also be held. For those who are interested in temari, this is a valuable opportunity to see the work in person.

We have started recruiting for workshops in Hirakata.

We look forward to your application.

~Creating things with a story~

NONA's manufacturing story begins with soil.
From soil to thread and then to temari.
Growing plants, extracting colors, and making temari.
Plant-dyed thread, which was first used for making temari, can now be used for many handicrafts.
Sashiko, embroidery, and knitting.
I would be happy if I could add my own color and shine to your "Stories" of manufacturing.
At a special event limited to 10 days from January 27th to February 5th, 2023, NONA plant-dyed yarn and special kit products will be sold.
We will also exhibit the temari works of the students of the temari class.
Additionally, to commemorate this event, we will be selling a limited quantity of special yarn created in collaboration with NONA LLC and shugei lab.
"Sakura" is one of Hirakata's flowers. NONA fine thread is dyed using the fallen leaves of Hirakata's cherry blossoms, which turn beautiful in autumn.
A very valuable thread has been created by mixing it with [the world's first reed thread] that utilizes "reed", a local resource of the Yodogawa River in Hirakata.
Additionally, a number of workshops will be held during the event.
We hope that ``Stories'' will be an opportunity to make things, such as by turning the cloth of memories into temari.
You can try sashiko on jeans filled with your own Stories, or try making your own Stories yarn using vegetable dyeing.

Please enjoy your time at this event where you can see, touch, and experience the creation of products with beautiful stories.
