[POP-UP Asakusa Ichirin] Netsuke by Temari/Sashiko brooch
ITO WORKSHOP is held at NONA where you can enjoy crafts using vegetable-dyed thread.
This time, ITO WORKSHOP will be on a field trip to Asakusa.
We have prepared two types of workshops.
Please also see the photo gallery for samples of our work.

[Temari]
When you wrap a small temari with plant-dyed thread, it looks like a jewel.
This time, we will use temari to create a netsuke.
I will teach you how to make temari into parts from the beginning.
It's an easy craft-like accessory making process. A grain temari that you won't be able to stop once you start rolling it.
It's quick to make, gives a sense of accomplishment, and is really cute.

[Sashiko]
Use NONA's vegetable-dyed thread to create an oval-shaped brooch.
We designed a pattern filled with cuteness.
We will provide detailed instructions to those who are new to sashiko.
